In case you missed it, I announced the chance to win an autographed copy of Joy Nash’s September 30th release, Immortals: The Crossing, last week in this thread. If you weren’t around for that, pop into that thread, find out what the book is all about (comments on that thread are now closed though). My draw is on September 15th.
If you were here last week (and even if you weren’t), you have another chance to enter this week. For one entry, take the IMMORTALS QUIZ and find out which Immortal is your soul mate and report back in the comments. There are 12 questions and you’ll need to keep track of which letter you choose for each question and score yourself (like taking a quiz in a magazine you keep track of your answers yourself). There’s no hard math, but I think I’m getting old, ’cause some of my choices were narrowed by me not knowing what or who some of the listed options were!
Anyway, apparently my ideal hero is Adrian, from Immortals: The Calling by Jennifer Ashley:
Adrian is a leader and a loner. His entire life has been wrapped around finding the brother that has been hidden from him. The woman he loves will be special and powerful, a partner as well as a lover.
Definitely for me.
So which one is your hero? Leave the answer in your comment for one entry.
If you feel talkative, blog Joy Nash’s 50 Days, 50 Books Giveaway for another entry (put your link in the comments or use a trackback so I know about it).
Don’t feel like you need to leave right away. Since I know you like books and you like free stuff (hey, my kind of people), you might want to check out yesterday’s free book downloads post.
Next Tuesday there’ll be another contest post and another way to enter. Don’t forget that there are 50 blogs taking part in this giveaway (but you know that, because you blogged for the extra entry, right?), so go forth and wander the Internet for more opportunities to win Immortals: The Crossing.
Comments are closed on this thread. Please see the new contest thread (posted on Tuesdays until the September 15th draw).

My ideal hero is Mac, from Immortals: The Crossing by Joy Nash
A favorite with the ladies, Mac, a Celtic demigod, is quick with the smiles and jokes. Don’t let the banter fool you – his magic is strong, and his deep sense of responsibility drives him to protect those weaker than he. His deepest wish? To find the one woman who will give his life true meaning.
What can I say? I’m a sucker for an accent.
Here’s what I got:
Your ideal hero is Hunter, from Immortals: The Gathering by Jennifer Ashley (9/07)
Hunter loves animals and even the most ferocious of them will fight by his side. He loves a good joke, likes to mess with his enemies’ minds, and is the gentlest of lovers. His zest for fun hides a broken heart one special lady will be able to heal.
Oops– I accidently posted it on your ‘Teaser Tuesdays’ one. Sorry! Stupid computer…. Well, here it is, in the right place:
My hero is Mac, from the very book that we’re entering the contest for! I can’t help it.. I love a Celtic demigod! Can’t wait to read this book *and future books in this series*, and I can only hope I’ll get to read it soon, autographed no less.
That’s okay, Danielle. I was going to count it anyway.
Would love to win a copy!
I like the look of the cover!
