This week I’ve found three free book downloads from three different authors: Brian Francis Slattery, M.J. Rose, and Charlie Huston:

… Spaceman Blues: A Love Song is offered through Tor.com. You have to be a member of the Tor community, but it’s free and easy to sign up (and there’s a free book download every month or so as well as short stories you won’t find anywhere else). You can download and read more about the book at Tor.com.
If science fiction isn’t your thing (although you’d be surprised as the variety of things that are classified as science fiction so don’t be turned off by the label), you can try M.J. Rose‘s The Recreationist. That download is available only until October 31st. You’ll have to create an account to download it, it’s quick and easy (there’s even a Kindle version).
Last, but certainly not least, you can download the first book in a trilogy by Charlie Huston. Unlike other campaigns where only the first book is available for free download, if you come back in November and December you can download the rest of the trilogy! For descriptions of the books and the link to the download, head over to Monsters & Critics for Caught Stealing.

Don’t forget to enter my giveaway of an actual print book next week! I’m giving away a new copy of Capitol Reflections by Jonathan Javitt for the Book Giveaway Carnival starting November 3rd (there will be many book bloggers giving things away so remember to check it out!). My giveaway will be open to the US and Canada (sorry, publisher restrictions — but I will have another giveaway later in November for Where am I Wearing: A Global Tour to the Countries, Factories, and People that Make Our Clothes by Kelsey Timmerman which will be open worldwide!).
I just started reading Capitol Reflections yesterday and I’m really enjoying it so far so I hope you come back next week and enter. You can check out an excerpt while you’re waiting.
