Free Book Downloads - Part 19

There are a couple free book downloads this week, so if you don’t win anything in my book giveaways this month, you can still pick up some free books each week if you don’t mind digital versions. This week there is a book download of Emissaries from the Dead, a short story download of A Water Matter by Jay Lake, and an audiobook download of Tribal Leadership.

Continuing their celebration of 10 years of publishing, EOS Publishing is offering a download of Emissaries from the Dead by Adam-Troy Castros. You can read the publisher’s description of the book on the publisher’s site (I’ll be adding this one to my to-be-read pile based on the description).

The short story A Water Matter is available at Tor. There’s no summary for this one and I haven’t read it yet, but they recruit excellent writers to write for the Tor website, all of them with at least one book as far as I know, so it should be a good one.

If you’re looking for nonfiction and don’t mind an audiobook, the folks over at Zappos.com have made an audiobook version of Tribal Leadership available on their blog.

For anyone interested in cheap audiobooks, there is a sale on at Bookcloseouts on audiobooks — there’s about 500 of them for $0.99-$1.99 (which is nuts considering the price of audiobooks normally).

Full disclosure: Yes, I’m an affiliate (the pennies I make go towards blog costs). If it’s your sort of thing, please do use the link.
